Step By Step Instructions

1. Phase I - Preparation

Prepare Your Nails:

• sanitize your hands
• soak your fingers in water for 5 min to hidratize
• dry fingers off and we are ready to begin
• gently buff the surface of the natural nails to remove any build-up, that might be left on your nail plates still.
• do a little bit of filing and shaping
• grab a cuticles pusher and push back your cuticles
• grab a cuticles clipper and remove anything you pulled back
• to remove any oil left, grab your buffing block and give each finger a nice buff
• The final step of prep: take your hand nail file and give a little kiss of the nail to rough it. It is super important to do this step, as this removes the shine and natural oils from the nail, and helps all the powder to adhere and prevents lifting

 

 

Prepare Your Dip Powders:

• Turn around (don't shake) couple of times the dipping powder jar to loosen any clumps.

 

 

2. Phase II - Application

1. Apply the Dip Bond (Bottle #1) to the entire natural nail and let dry for about 20 sec (do this for every fingernail)

2. Apply the Dip Base (Bottle #2) a hairline away from the cuticles (working one nail at a time)

• dip into your chosen color at a 45 degree angle
• Tip: bring the powder jar up to the nail while shaking it slightly, don't push the nail against the powder
• Tip: you don’t want to wait as the base starts to dry quickly
• After dipping wait about 30 seconds
• Tap on the finger to remove any excess powder and dust off with a brush

 

 

3. Do the nail again

• Apply the Dip Base (Bottle #2) to the entire nail and dip into your chosen color
• Wait 30 seconds
• Tap on the finger to remove excess powder and dust off as always with a brush

 

 

4. If needed do the nail third time

• Apply the Dip Base (Bottle #2) to the entire nail and dip into your chosen color
• Wait 30 seconds
• Tap on the finger to remove excess powder and dust off as always with a brush

 

 

5. Apply Activator (Bottle #3) to the entire nail

• Saturate the nail and let it dry - this makes the nail harden and dry
• Wait 30 seconds
• Tip: you can tell if the nail is dry by gently tapping on it to see if the powder has harden

 

 

6. When it's dry, It's time to file.

• start with hitting the side walls and clear the edge with hand file
• then file any bumps and ridges to perfect the apex

 

 

7. When that looks good

• grab your buffing block and smooth out the nail
• dust off as always with a brush

 

 

8. Apply second time Activator (Bottle #3) to the entire nail

• saturate the nail and let it dry
• Wait 30 seconds
• Tip: grab a lint free wipe and rub the nails to put out any extra activator that the nail hasn't absorbed

 

 

9. Last step:

• Apply Dip Coat (Bottle #4) in thin, quick strokes to the entire nail, then allow to dry for 2 minutes
• start with the picky and work your way down the hand
• by the time you are back to the pinky it will be dry
• apply Dip Base (Bottle #4) to the entire nail second time - that's what makes that beautiful shiny look
• allow to air dry
